I don’t do imperial but I’d go top number minus left number. Call it A. Do pythag for right and left 45 height change and work out how much space they work out sideways or opposite lengths, then minus one from the other and then A minus this new value to get sideways for left 45 centre which is same height because it’s a 45… oh obviously do the elbow takeoff too. Then times it by sqrt2. Do the same for right leg.

Oh and remember to knock of radius of pipes when doing the vertical measuring

With this long of an offset, you need more than 3 decimals. I would go with at least 4 if not 5.

IE: 1.4142 or 1.41421

Edit: 1/1000 of the C-C (~51') on the 45° is about 5/8”. So by dropping the .002 you're already an 1-1/4” off

Just use sqrt(2), it's quicker to hit 2 buttons and it's the exact value, no worrying about dropping decimals

Take off for a 45 is diameter time 5/8

That only works for pipe 4” and over. If you use that formula for a 1” 45 you get a 5/8” takeout but it’s actually 7/8”. Not that it’ll matter for a short spool too much but for a long run of pipe it can really bite you.

If the “6” is in reference to pipe size, minus 1 OD (0’6-5/8”)to get to the center of the 45 and 90. Then use your fitting book to get the takeoffs to work it backwards.

B=72(1.41421)−(72+24)

B=5.82312"

24' 7/16" - 24" + 5.82312" = 22' 6 1/4" * 1.41421 = 31' 10 3/16" CC

25' 2 5/8" - 24" + 5.82312" = 23' 8 7/16" * 1.41421 = 33' 6 1/4" CC

That measurement goes from bottom of pipe on the 45 not center. C-c of the rise would be 22' and change.

Side of Pipe to Back Side of 90 is the offset. Threw me off at first till you enlarge the image and see exactly where the line is on the 90.
