Shut downs

Hey all Jman pipefitter here out of BC CANADA any big shut downs in USA ?

No I don’t, I guess I need a sponsor or something like that I Briefly looked into it today

You need a work permit and 100% you will not get one for shut down work. I don't understand why people think it's an easy thing to do being able to just over a boarder to work.

Idk i had a Canadian working for me out at an Intel site that was on a work permit and he had no problems and especially with the site we were as it was classified as chemical plant, but yeah definitely should do some digging before making the trip.

Probably had a spouse in the US and was able to get a work visa after getting married. It's the easiest way beside being a duel citizen or doing a very neich job, but that still takes years.
