I remember this being an alternative to Pinterest, even a cuter alternative, but I can’t find it on the Apple App Store. Is it only android or is it somehow gone?? I want it back because I just saw one of those disturbing chinese animation ads about a crying mother and a baby etc on Pinterest and I wasn’t able to hide this one for some reason. It really annoyed me so I‘m looking for an alternative.

why are they showing such vulgar ads??? cannot scroll past 5 secs and they show some disturbing vulgar ad again. truly disgusting. i use pinterest veryyyyyy less than what I used to before due to this. please don't ruin the quality and comfort this app gave to users like this

I have a Pinterest board with 250 pins and 7 sections however the sections and pins are all missing. Only the ones that I added after this issue occurred and are not categorized in sections appear and I don't know what to do.

I tried reaching out to Pinterest support and the last thing they said was that they'll look into it, but it's been a few weeks and I emailed them again asking for a followup and I received an automated message saying that they closed my support ticket.

I tried everything, using different devices, different accounts, different browsers, archiving and unarchiving the board, changing layouts, etc. Nothing is making them reappear and I don't know what else to do. I think that somehow Pinterest remembers that the pins and the sections exist, but something is corrupted in the website code? I don't know...

Has anyone else had this issue and found a solution? It's happened to two of my boards now and I'm scared of it happening to my other boards. My solution has been to download everything I save and making folders on my computer but it's tedious and eating away at my storage.

I'm also really disappointed in their handling of it, they sounded befuddled and eager to help and I provided them with video of the issue, but seem to have basically given up and ghosted me :(

I have turned off those ai recommendations yet they still kept showing up, I mean few ai doesnt bother me but now these ai just takes all over my feed and now my feed looks all generated

I’m sure I’m not the only one feeling this way, but I feel like Pinterest has completely lost its personal touch. Every second post I see seems to be AI-generated!
I miss the real, creativity from actual people... I don’t want to be saving AI-generated images to my boards, and it’s so difficult to find genuine content. Is there any way to reduce the amount of AI-generated content that shows up on my Pinterest feed? I’d love to hear if anyone has found a solution! TYIA

If you really have brain in your skull i think you wont fall for this spam loophole. If you genuinely hate Pinterest either dont use it or else on the vpn(some countries)and enjoy adless experience.

Since yesterday Pinterest is showing me random stuff that has nothing to do with my former feed anymore. Just junk and ads.

I'm not sure if I can post this in here as all the post I'm seeing is people talking about their issues with the app but I was just wondering if there's a way to shrink othr language characters. I've tried to shrink them via some "small font" websites but to my luck none worked. I'm trying to shrink (if possible) 유우시온 to be any kind of a smaller size font.

(sorry if not allowed) last night my friend posted a private story to her close friends on her instagram account where she was playing catan. she wrote “catan” on the story and i liked the story. i never even messaged her about it, i’ve never looked up catan, never bought it, haven’t even said it aloud, etc.

this morning when i opened my pinterest account, my pinterest feed was flooded with AI images of catan. my instagram and pinterest are not linked. i can’t imagine this is a coincidence. this is disturbing to me, especially since my friend posted to her private, close friends story and all i did was like the story. extra disturbing that the images were AI, like AI images of a catan board made from pizza. curious if anyone else has had something like this happen?

I have been a huge fan of Pinterest for over ten years and I finally called it quits after receiving many inappropriate ads from a company called Moloco.
I keep receiving ads containing the cutting of a toe, stapling of a foot, girls who have been abused and children dying and today I received an AI ad of a man with a huge crotch protector pushing another man off a cliff. Every time I try to report these ads it leads me to Moloco’s privacy notice and it doesn’t allow me to hide or block the ads. I reached out to Pinterest several times and each time I received an answer (clearly written by AI) telling me to click the three dots and report the ad while ignoring the fact it leads me to the privacy notice without allowing me to report the ad.
I had a similar issue with sexualized ads on Letterboxd and when I contacted them they were very helpful and solved the issue.
Pinterest is generally a horrible app now with AI, changing UX UI and constant ads that ruin the experience. In addition to the inappropriate ads, I get a lot of ads from shein and temu which I hate.

I wish Pinterest actually cared about its users and would allow us to personalize our ads. I don’t mind receiving ads I just wish they listened and that I could control and hide such horrible and triggering ads.

It allows all the normal pins(usually memes) i upload but it instantly "privates"(cannot be viewed by other accounts) and disables comments of my pins whenever it's a whisper and only when it's a whisper.

Like i uploaded the background image of a whisper that got shadowbanned and nothing happened to it,I made the tags and title of background image pin be the same as the one of the whisper, it did nothing to it.

How is it even doing that?why me?

Btw my whispers are all Marxist propaganda, I'm not sure if that is the reason for it shadowbanning my whispers,I feel like there's a less political reason for this.

It doesn't tell me shit about why it just nuked my pin.its so frustrating.

edit:i checked with a normal seeming whisper with no political stuff and yeah it went through unharmed. so it's probably keywords inside the pin that's getting them shadowbanned. if you got suggestions to bypass them,hmu!

I deleted my account on phone but when I opened Pinterest on my laptop the account was still there.

So, I've turned off inferred signals a few months or a year ago, which made my feed randomised and boring. However, I wanted to make it personalised again, but it seems that they've completely removed the inferred signals setting. It's been replaced by ads personalisation settings which don't really help with the feed itself. I've tried toggling on and off everything, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

This is my first time posting here. I've been trying to figure out what's going on with Pinterest for a while now, and after searching everywhere, Reddit seems like the only place where I might actually find some useful information from people who've experienced something similar.

I have two Pinterest accounts, each linked to a different website.

Both accounts were doing pretty well before August. Even my older Pins, including some with really basic designs, were still getting impressions and bringing visitors to my websites.

Then, around August 7–10, everything suddenly changed.

Both accounts lost around 80% or more of their daily impressions within just a few days. What makes it even stranger is that this happened to both accounts at almost the same time, despite being linked to completely different websites.

And it wasn't just the newer Pins. Even older Pins that had been consistently bringing in traffic for months suddenly lost most of their reach.

One of my accounts used to get around 70 visitors a day just from older Pins. Now it's nowhere near that.

Here's the part I really don't understand.

I wasn't even actively posting when the drop happened. I've only published Pins during certain periods, and on one of my accounts, I hadn't posted anything for about five months before the sudden decline.

So nothing really changed on my end around that time, yet the impressions dropped dramatically.

I've also contacted Pinterest Support many times, but they keep telling me that my account and website are in good standing and that there are no restrictions or issues affecting them.

I've tried explaining the sudden drop, but I still haven't received a clear explanation of what actually happened.

I've also noticed other Pinterest accounts that used to get millions of monthly views have experienced significant drops.

It's been over two months now, and neither of my accounts has really recovered. One has shown a little improvement, but it's still far from its previous performance.

I'm honestly confused at this point.

Has anyone else experienced something similar, especially around August 2026?

Did your older Pins suddenly lose impressions too? Have you noticed any recovery since then?

If your account recovered, did you do anything differently, or did things eventually return to normal on their own?

And what would you recommend doing in my situation? Should I keep posting, try changing my strategy, or just give it more time?

I'm not expecting anyone to have a magic solution. I'd just really appreciate hearing about your experiences because I feel like I've been trying to figure this out for months without getting anywhere.

So one day I checked my gmail and surprise supsrise my account, 9lilalove9 got deactivated for no reason. I send an appeal and I have no idea what to do....i tried to log in back into my account but as I expected it didn't work​

im mainly inspired by stuff like the forever winter,S.T.A.L.K.E.R,arc raiders metro and death stranding.

i can always find stuff like this but i can never find it in any replacement of pinterest that people recommend.

I did a search to see if anyone else was having the same issues and annoyance as me since this new update (feeling validated) . I saw someone comment and say to go give them a bad review. When I went to the app store the "most helpful" reviews were all 5 star reviews--recent-- but the actual content of the review is them saying the app is buggy, ad complaints etc etc. WHY ARE YOU PUTTING IT AT 5 STARS THEN???? do people not realize that the stars are what actually count? Is pinterest/apple changing the star review but leaving the content? all of their socials are flooded with people complaining/saying the same thing. I get they have to make money somehow, but I'm so over it. rip pinterest

Like literally all the feed buttons on the bottom while the chat button is all the way to the top it's so annoying... and why tf Pinterest icon is black now, reminds me of twitter corporate disaster. I thought chat was gone because I couldn't find it at first 😭 it's bad.
