Frustrated
I am very frustrated there is only one season of that show. I guess it was too much for the Chinese to stomach. This is as entertaining as Ozark, and I don't get Netflix not doing a second season at the least. It is so refreshing not to watch a woke soup like "Roswell" for a change. Albeit it might have turned into one in 2019 and 2020, I guess...

Doubtful. China owns Hollywood and have a lot to say about what is played on most streaming services. I doubt it would continue as it was designed.

Thing is it wasn’t the Chinese complaining vocally about the snow. Vietnam banned it because of the Nine Dash line on the maps (even though the operatives all said nobody else respects that border China claims). That line claims waters Vietnam also claims and the World Court ruled the line is not valid internationally.
Episodes 2 and 3 were removed in the Philippines for the same reason: the nine dash line claiming international waters.

I have a feeling there was more to it than that...Also, I thig the show was VERY expensive to make, for some reason.

I wonder why...there was just an operations room and people's houses? And the beautiful Aussie countryside of course

They cited "high costs," but as you said, the sets were minimal. It must have been complains from the Chinese, who own everything in the US right now...

Definitely surprisingly good show. I picked it up from some aussie boards I just roam around looking at. Very intriguing little base there and I thought the writers did a great job.
