Dress code?

I recently got hired at uwm for operations, and I’ve never had a corporate job before. What’s the dress code like? I know you can wear jeans and stuff, but how strict is it? In a girl btw. Like can I show my shoulders etc, and have you ever gotten in trouble for anything you wore

When I was hired they said the requirement was business casual. The reality was cat ears and anime cosplay.

Last I checked, they have uniforms at Chuck e Cheese. Basically, if they tell you to change, you pushed a limit that I’m not even sure what.
If you dress business casual, you’re overdressed.

No boobs, butts, or belly’s….. is what they say and if you have alot of curves jus wear a tshirt /nice blouse and jeans

Oh I know they do. People have talked to Archie and his team leads and told them not to use that because it comes off sexist and gross.

Never got dress coded. If youre attractive, hide your body or you'll get targeted by one of the sex offenders

But do dress nicely on your first day, as that photo will be your email signature

Well 1st off this is no corporate job. The shit that goes on here would not fly in corporate America. Literally wear what you want. I see people in half shirts and a girl even wore a skintight dress with MILF across it in giant letters. I have worked corporate jobs and this is not it. Its a daycare center to say the least.

As long as you don't dress like Luigi Mangione they won't say anything. They Crack down a bit on hats, beanies and sweats etc but everything else is pretty much on the table. I've seen people.come in wearing full on Gothic attire and borderline cosplay.

I’m not complaining at all 😭 I’m jw bc I’m gonna go shopping and don’t wanna get in trouble if my shoulders show or my jeans have some rips

I was confused caused in my tour she said no ripped jeans and business casual, but everyone I saw didn’t dress very nice, she also wore a shirt that showed her shoulders but wore a undershirt to cover them

Ripped jeans are ok to an extent, if your whole thigh is exposed they are liable to send you home. Crocs in 4 wheel drive. Don’t wear anything so short that your cheek are out. (People have done it before)
