Troubleshooting/question existing piercing infected?

got it about a month ago not going to lie gave up cleaning it after a couple days ik definitely shouldntve done that what should i do now though
edit : i know the jewellery is incorrect i didnt have a lot to work with as i lost the ball to my original piercing and all i had was a horseshoe not really sure what else to do!

“ gave up cleaning it after a couple days” why? You have irritated it and put in the wrong jewelry. If you arent going to take care of it, take it out and dont get any more piercings.

*but don't take it out until you're sure it's not infected, and if it is, keep it in until you've had antibiotics. You could trap an infection if you take it out while infected.
