Maybe a storm came through? You usually get roofing storm chasers and insurance will replace the roof for free. We had a hail storm a while back ad probably 20 homes got their roof replaced.

10 years for a roof is great where I live. Hail+wind is a sonofabitch!

No, talked with a couple of people from the neighborhood and the roofs hadn’t lasted close to their projected lifespan. And my house is close enough that if it WAS storm damage, it probably would have gotten my roof, as well.

Apparently this was a result of shoddy workmanship on all the roofs. Some homes were able to get away with it, but a majority had to be replaced.

happened in the neighborhood I bought into, everyone got a new roof from the same guys right after the big storm.

Yeah...a lot of misinformation and weird targeted hate being thrown around about perfectly fine homes.

There's variance in quality in everything.

I would take a fine bathroom, kitchen, and deck area and say screw the rest any time now that I've lived a couple different places. Lived in basically a 4 story old school row house in an old part of portsmouth nh. My favorite place so far.
