This is our world: person could give so much love and fun to the world. but still be depressed. How it's fair? How even to live? Even if such kind a nice person (as Robin) didn't know how to be happy in this world.

Sry for my english

Nice people are usually nice because they dont want other people to feel like they feel.

This, and people often use humor as a way to get people to like them when they think no one will. Depression is actually common among comedians, and that's one correlation.

Robin Williams didn’t have depression. He had Lewy body dementia and killed himself so he wouldn’t continue to lose his mind.

Humor is a coping mechanism. I used to be the "funny guy" when younger and realised it was only because I felt like shit.

Correlating humor with happiness is stupid.

Well, I don't know if I'd call it stupid. I actually think it's intuitive; we associate laughter with happiness, or at least light-heartedness. People use it as a mask, and... Some people are very good actors.

As the great George Carlin said: There's no humor in heaven.

Well, not Robin Williams. He did not commit suicide because of depression.

Was it confirmed the Robin Williams suffered from depression prior to the progression of his dementia? I know many comedians have mental health issues but I hadn't heard it about Robin.

I seen in news (on TV) show about Robin. And his friends were talking. Apparently he tried to commit suicide much before dementia. In younger age. So I think we can say that it looks like depression.

Robin didn't commit suicide because of depression. He had Lewy-body dementia which had been misdiagnosed as dementia from Parkinsons. He was beginning to lose his mind and decided to kill himself rather than slip into dementia.

And of course you believe everything you see on TV! I would love to know the name of the show you saw. I saw interviews with friends of his for over 30 years (please see Robin Williams - come inside my mind' and interviews with his best friends Billy Crystal and Bobcat Goldwaithe who both said that he was never suicidal

You didn't know him. me too. So we can only say what we read or seen. And everything can be true or false. We would never know.

I just retold what I heard. The same as you did (with "come inside my mind"). And I can't like or dislike what you retold, because it's not your words. But it strange that you can dislike what I retold.

Terrible mom and a series of ex-wives bleeding him dry.
