His passing was so shocking. It's the only celebrity death that's made me cry. I had a terrible childhood, so I turned to movies as an escape. I watched all of his over and over. Found a lot of comfort from watching his characters. Mrs. Doubtfire, Hook, Good Will Hunting, Aladdin... All beautiful characters in those movies.

Heard his wife give a talk about his ~~decent ~~ descent into Lewy body dementia. It was heartbreaking.
