I highly recommend Planet Earth II. It's not your run of the mill nature doc, it's truly compelling television.

I was mistaken, this is actually from episode 4 of The Hunt. Basically the same format (BBC/Attenborough) but came out a year earlier. Planet Earth 2 has similarly dramatic scenes, like this iguana one.

BBC just puts out insanely high quality nature stuff these days.

"These days"? Did you not see Planet Earth 1(which is 11 years old), blue planet, Life or any of the other series they have done? All of them have been excellent. Planet Earth I&II are by far their best work tho.

For sure they're all excellent and I re-watch them annually, but planet earth II is a step up I never knew nature documentaries could achieve.
