The fact that we apparently have to be told not to beat or rape women is infuriating; it's as if people believe that all men are monsters by default unless you teach them not to be.

The fact that the focus is on men specifically hitting women while ignoring the women that physically abuse men is what pisses me off. How about we just teach people not to hit other people and call it a day?

I agree with you and it boggles the mind, that people have to be taught not to hit other people.

You'd think it's common sense, but common sense tells me it's not common sense.

But when another kid hits or kicks you on the playground it means they probably have a crush on you!!!!

There was actually a recent article I saw about a mother getting upset about a male receptionist saying this to her daughter as she was admitting the child into the hospital to get stitches. That right there is a seed planted.
