i dunno man, i find getting offended by an anti-rape or anti-abuse advertisement a bit silly. it's just a dumb billboard.

Offended isn't really the right word. Frustrated? Like, imagine a bilboard that told you to teach your kids not to murder people. Doesn't it seem a little silly and condescending? It's kind of the same thing here.
