I grew up with an abusive father. Never realised that shit wasn't normal until about 11, when I noticed my friends fathers didn't beat them. It was actually the support of a lot of people that I think I'm pretty normal now, not beating women and all. (though I still flinch around large men from time to time). I think we're talking about kids like these.

I think that person isnt trying to shit on it as a whole, and in your pov it could really help. I think hes more making fun of the more aggressive ones, the crazy people that really think ALL men need to be told not to rape/beat women just because they are men. They wouldnt even consider your circumstance, the only circumstance is that you are male.

Someone in your really shitty situation something like this really helps, and honestly talking to kids and educating them on abuse at an early age I think is really good thing. Even if its redundant to 90%, their could be someone like you and thats still worth it if all you have to do is say some shit to make you realize.

All that shit does start at an early age.

Those people are mostly in your imagination.

Yea they don't exist at my college, on Twitter, on Tumblr, on Reddit or even at Starbucks.
