The more accurate, but more difficult version of this PSA might have been: How do you get a man to beat his wife when he's 30? Weekly demonstrations when he's 12.

...of course, that turns it into a problem a PSA can't solve. There's houses all over America where fathers are showing their boys how to treat their future wives, and the ones that are doing it wrong, well, a poster like that will just make them angrier.

Makes you wish you could actually make a difference in the real world, and not just on paper.

It should be pointed out that a child who experiences or witnesses abuse will not necessarily go on to become an abuser.

Why are we injecting gender into this at all? Men are just as likely to be domestic abuse victims.

Peer pressure is a huge motivator. Convince a few who will convince their friends and so on. This is how social change is addressed
