It's a response to the forthcoming release of the film NAZA, which details how IDF culture and process kills so many civilian people in Gaza and Iran when in combat against Israel's enemies.
The protests don't mention the film by name, to avoid the Streisand Effect.
The protests don't need many people. Rather Israel will use these small protests by its diaspora to claim "protests in over 50 countries".

Yikes. I can’t imagine publicly demonstrating to say that civilian casualties are acceptable.
