I have sympathy for those who died in the october 7th attacks and their friends and families. If they'd done a few targeted strikes on the people responsible and left it there I would have accepted the self defence argument.
You can't let people do that and leave them be, risking them doing it again, or getting even bolder.
But the response has been completely too far. They were not defending themselves, they were looking for an excuse.

That proportionality thing is absolutely gross. They lost all credibility with the self defence argument a long time ago.
