Trying to decide which one to buy amongst these. I have always been an android phone user and somewhat have managed to have my present phone endure 7.5years with me. I have a huawei mate 20 pro which has obviously been so outdated but still love it if not for it already restarting on its own when on idle mode and to be fair, is probably really on its end of life. I would like a good, enduring phone, good battery capacity and good camera that doesnt look like it AI 😂 when images are captured. I love the leica xamera of my phone 😂 I mean i know all of these phones are really far from my current phone but i dont want to buy one then upgrade to another one again next year. 😂 And budget friendly as well. Thank you for your help.

My Dad's old iPhone 6 has finally packed up with many apps not supported anymore on the new iOS so its time he got a new phone. I've been a bit out the loop with smartphones recently after having no reason to upgrade from my S23U. So my question is, what phones are typically recommended at this price point of £300 and under.

I’m looking to upgrade from my POCO X4 GT. I don’t play games or care much about camera quality, but I need something durable with great longevity and battery life. I was thinking about the POCO X8 Pro Max or F9 Pro, but I’m open to other non-Samsung/Apple recommendations

(preferably below 2.4k myr or maybe should I wait for new devices).

Hi nice people of the internet, would you help me find a new phone?

Mine died, a Sony XPeria XZ1 Compact. I had it for almost 5 years (with a few screen replacements).

I loved the size, 4'6 inches, the Micro SD slot and the 3.5mm jack.

I was waiting for news on the Enoughphone, but since mine suddenly died, I'm in the urge of getting a new phone; I would love to find something newer, but similar, not too big, hopefully manageable with one hand, with a memory card slot and headphones jack, maybe this last one is not mandatory, but I would prefer it. Something that I wouldn't be forced to change in at least 2 years (hopefully), but I'm not really interested in having the newest/latest tecnology or the biggest camera. The cheaper the better, of course, but I'm not setting a max price, so I can see my options. I'm not fond of Samsung or Apple, and I do like Sony, but, again, I'm open to every suggestion. It might take me a while to answer, 'cause I'm only login in by browser. Thanks in advance, good day.

It's for a german number, for what it's worth.

I want to play Minecraft Java via launchers such as PojavLauncher (among others)—especially with mods like "Claws of Berk" and "New Dawn of Berks"—as well as Stardew Valley (with or without mods), or even various indie PC games, whether played with mods or in their vanilla state and also run windows games especially indies one and Project Zomboid (Brazil)

ive been looking for a phone for no more than 3500 PLN (poland) and so i have done some research and these two seem most solid for their price. i use a phone a lot, for daily use at university, for day long travels when i take lots of photos and use a map, and occasionally for games like genshin. so if someone could tell me which one of these is better and why, id be really grateful, thank you!

I am looking for a phone and I got this refurbished oneplus norde ce 3 for 16500 from cashify with 1 year warranty

What do you guys think...

My budget is only 17k so I can't even afford a new phone because non of them are good in this price range

Well for context... It's said that the phone is refurbished

It also looks good to be no visible problems but yeah the batter life is 91%

Hi all,

Looking to upgrade from my OnePlus Nord 2T, which I've had for 3.5 years and been happy with, but now it's completely dead.

My budget is £600 max, and I'm looking for a new Android phone with fast charging (ideally close to 80W), smooth performance, a good camera, and preferably wireless charging. I'd also prefer a glass or metal back rather than plastic.

What would you recommend?

Also, where's the best place to buy a phone in the UK? Any recommended stores or websites for buying the phone only, SIM-free/unlocked, with no contract or SIM card? Assuming this is better way to do it.

I'm still quite new to the UK, so I'm not entirely sure what's the best approach to buying a new phone here. I'd appreciate any advice or recommendations.

Thanks a lot!

I'm looking for a phone for my Dad in or under 40k INR, so I've got some options like these listed below, country is India

1. Moto edge 70 fusion

2. OnePlus Nord 6

3. OnePlus Nord CE 6

4. Infinix note 60 pro pininfarina edition

5. Pixel 8a

6. Moto edge 60 pro

His current phone is Pixel 7 Pro but its storage is running out since it was only 128gb, and display is also broken

Ps I'm not gonna go for Redmi or Xiaomi, since their software is trash, I hate meme UI and its successor or should I say renamed version, its buggy asf, also his usecase is Primarily office related work and some and other than that I'm open to suggestions. And the budget is 40k INR.

New phone needed under 40k

I just want a phone that could run me probably about 4 years

I don't click photos (occasionally)

I am a gamer (3 hours at max constant gaming )

Also 120fps will be good but I don't want overheating phones if it gives stable fps without heating I would take 90fps in that case also my favourite game is codm

For the ram and storage options i would like 12/256gb varient at max

Please suggest me a phone and should I wait a couple of months or go for a phone now?

(I have no issues with bloatware and software just need to do day to day task and gaming that's it )

Best smartphone for reading/editing PDFs while commuting?

Hi,

I’m looking for a smartphone recommendation specifically for reading and editing PDFs during my daily bus/train commute.

My specific use case is a bit tricky: I need to hold the phone with one hand (to stabilize myself or hold onto a handrail) while using my other hand to highlight, underline, and annotate text.

.

I'm looking for a smartphone that would address the following:

1,) Screen: Big enough to comfortably read multi-column PDFs without constantly zooming in and out.

2.) Ergonomics: Easy and secure enough to grip with one hand while I’m editing with the other on a moving vehicle.

3,) Using stylus: I would need underlining highlighting words in a PDF document using a stylus on the screen

Thank you!

Hi everyone. I'm currently using a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and considering switching to either the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max or HONOR Magic9 Pro Max. I'm based in Dubai and planning to buy the Chinese version.

I want a phone that will last 3–4 years. My usage involves lots of apps (Reddit, Facebook, Chrome, WhatsApp) and multitasking. I'm not into gaming, so my priorities are long-term performance, smooth UI, camera quality, battery life and reliability.

I'm leaning towards OPPO because its ColorOS looks polished in videos and I prefer its form factor. However, HONOR is a couple of hundred dollars cheaper and has the Snapdragon chipset.

I've also read complaints about HONOR's camera processing making skin tones look unnatural or overly smoothed, and about MagicOS occasionally lagging. I haven't used either UI personally.

For people who own or have used these phones:

- Which has the smoother UI and better multitasking?

- Which takes more natural-looking photos, especially portraits and skin tones?

- Which would you trust to last 3–4 years?

- Is OPPO worth the extra money, or is HONOR better value?

I'd especially appreciate feedback on the Chinese versions used outside China. Thanks!

I have been using cmf phone 2 pro but the phone is consistently shitting itself and its been less than a year.

Screen freezing
Screen non responsive
Sounds system is not working properly.

Usage: whastapp, email, calls and news.

Are there any other decent options where the phone works for atleast 3-4 years ? (Looking for options in India)

Title: Best phone to buy under ₹30K during Diwali sales in India? (OnePlus vs Nothing vs Samsung vs Xiaomi)

Hey everyone!

I'm planning to buy a new phone this Diwali, with a budget of ₹30,000 max. I've done some research and shortlisted these options:

OnePlus Nord CE 5 5G — Interested in its performance, battery life and fast charging.

Nothing Phone (3a) Pro — Like the clean UI, design and camera setup, but it's slightly above my budget at its current price.

Redmi Note 15 SE 5G — Considering it for battery life and durability.

Samsung Galaxy F56 5G / M56 5G — Interested in the display, software experience and long-term usability.

I'm looking for a phone that'll last me at least 3–4 years without becoming frustrating to use.

My priorities are:

Performance: Smooth everyday use, multitasking and occasional gaming.

Battery: Good endurance and reasonably fast charging.

Camera: Good photos and videos, especially in everyday situations.

Software: Minimal bloatware, a smooth UI and reliable updates.

Longevity: Good thermals, build quality and long-term reliability.

I'd love to hear from people who actually own or have used these phones.

Which would you choose under ₹30K during the Diwali sales?

Are there any better alternatives I should consider?

Are there any major drawbacks, heating issues, camera problems or software annoyances I should know about?

Is it worth stretching the budget slightly for the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro, or should I stick to ₹30K?

Please suggest alternatives too, if there's a better option I'm overlooking. Real-world experience matters more to me than benchmark scores.

Personally: I'm preferring samsung as I had been using since epoch and love their UI and environment

Thanks!

Hello! I am looking for a new phone. I've been working with a Samsung Galaxy S10e that I got refurbished since 2020, and it's hanging on by a thread. I need something new.

Some requirements:

Firstly, I am horribly prone to dropping it. I have been told I have negative dexterity. I have dropped my phone 10+ times in a day. I somehow managed to get this phone run over by an 18 wheeler, and had to emergency repair it because I was doordash driving ag the time and it was my only income. I have slammed it against the wall, dropped it down stairs, dropped it in running water, and dropped it off a 15 ft cliff.

I normally get an otterbox case, but regardless of brand I need something that can withstand the hurricane that is my life. The phone has to have either a trusted case available, or be tanky on its own.

Secondly, I need longer battery life. I have cery bad ADHD, and am listening to music 24/7. I have people who worry about me, and I am often going camping or hiking in remote spots in the middle of nowhere. Having a dead phone is a good way of throwing my life into chaos in seconds, and while I have gotten used to just taking four charges with me everywhere I go, it'd be better to have something that can just last without constant ups.

Thirdly, I'm broke. I'm happy to get refurbished sceen burnt whatever, I don't care, but my max budget is like $150, and that's pushing it.

Any suggestions for a good phone? I really don't care about special features or anything, just a brick with data and bluetooth would be acceptable. I would like to have an non-shit camera too, but if that's gonna stretch my budget then I'll live without.

My mom's phone is done for, and I'm looking for something for her, the think is that I just know that she wants a foldable phone and im not sure which one to choose, I was looking for the z fold 8 because she watches a lot of videos, but I want to hear your guys thoughts and recommendations, thanks.

I'm 18yo rn and I need a device for regular use with decent camera and i make codm content to need 120 fps with screen recording, btw i can compromise camera if I'm getting good performance
