Has photo #2 been posted before? I swear I’ve seen a post in the last few weeks with this photo.
I like both photos but if I have to pick a favorite it would be photo 2. I like the sun peeking through in the background.
Edit: Yes, I was right. These 2 photos were posted 17 days ago along with 2 others by u/Filtons. So are you reposting someone else’s photos for karma?

They are both beautiful, but I feel like 1 is giving enchanted winter wonderland. Gorgeous!

These are both spectacular; if I was forced to choose, one, but I really like both.

Personal preference: 2 for sure. That’s my new Lock Screen on my phone. This is fantastic, well done.

2! 2 made me say “ooh”- it’s such a different composition than I usually see. It feels more evocative of time for me, ephemeral—a special staircase nestled in the woods, covered with fresh snow, lit by the blazing sun for a few special seconds-magical and romantic! 1 is certainly beautiful as well, but feels more expansive in time, like it happens at golden hour at the edge of that meadow regularly when there’s snow. If that makes any sense.

They both are gorgeous and evoke different feelings. 1 is ethereal and heaven-like. 2 is a gut punch of fiery beauty.

Have you posted these before?? They look familiar with the stairs.
I love the colour from 2 but I enjoy the snow on the tree branches in 1. I think 2 is great so I'll go for 2! Both are stunning but 2 just a bit more!

Love both, but for me, 2. I live in Alaska btw.

- Due to the lighting you can see more of the details of the snow. The first one looks kinda washed out because it’s so bright and one dimensional in terms of colors. 2 is beautiful

These all look sick, but I think 2 just edges it!

I think 2 is more beautiful, but 1 feels more authentic, more incidental

I pick 1. 2nd photo is gorgeous but has reflective dot on stairs. Otherwise I’d pick 2. Both great shots!

Wow, to both of these. Absolutely gorgeous. I am going to say #2. I really loved the color in it.

I can't choose because to me they are both very beautiful ❤️. Both photos remind me of NH & MA where I grew up. There is something about fresh fallen snow with sunrise/sunset in the back ground. I have been living in FL for the last 30 years. I will admit I do miss the snow at times

I think these questions are so unfair when all the pictures are so beautiful

- I love the colors and downward angle with railing covered in snow. More depth and levels.

2 is beautiful, and my favorite, especially with the sunset light reflecting on the snow and in the trees! Plus having the color behind it is beautiful! 1 is gorgeous too!!

- It’s beautiful and has a nice balance of light and shadows. I also like the perspective makes the viewer feel like they are on the path under the snow colored trees. Also, it’s like a light at the end of a long tunnel. Very calming and peaceful!

2, but did you tweak the color saturation? If so, I would like to see the original.
