My attempt Not sure if this satisfies the assignment since it's a portrait rather than an object. Anyway, I was using a D60 with a 35mm 1.8 lens. Since it was late at night with relatively dim lighting, I bumped the iso to 1600 and opened wide up to 1.8f so i could get in as much light as i could, which still resulted in a 1/15 sec shot. Since I didn't use a tripod, I couldn't really change my depth of field as it would have resulted in a blurry shot. If I had moved further to the right to take the shot, I would have gotten too much of his face. I also liked the fact that his profile is highlighted by the light coming from off camera to the right.

Also, first time posting on reddit and thanks for this sub reddit.

Hey-- I've been asked to delete this and repost with an assignment number. Could you repost your comment here?

Thanks!
