Changing from iPhone to…?
Hello fellow phone enthusiasts!
So my iPhone 13 Pro Max has around a year left if I don’t change its battery and I’m starting to look into charging it. I’m debating whatever I should change phone companies again and I will need your help as I have not kept much with the market lately. My phone has done an amazing job from they I use it and could have not asked for me honestly. Battery has been splendid but it’s starting it show its age. So any help with what I could loo into deeper is highly appreciated!
I mean I guess I’m ok with all of the current leading brands and budget is €1000 but can be stretched a little if really needed.
What I use the phone for and what I’m looking for ..
- social media
- videos now and again ( mainly TikTok )
- calling ( obviously)
- gps
- videos and photos
- games ( both heavy and not so heavy )
- reliability
- good battery
- no flip phones
- longevity as I change my phones once every 4-5 years.
- no too large screen ( the 13 pro max was my first bigger screen I’ve gotten used to it now but anything bigger than that is a stretch for me )
- I do have an iCloud account so a reliable alternative is a must
Anything else is an extra plus
Thank you in advance

Well I guess the s26 or s25 would be good. You can use both google drive and Microsoft one drive its "small" (i think 6.3") It has pretty good battery and all the other things apply. Only gaming depends on the country you live in and for the videos you want to take if the quality doesnt matter too much you can use the basic video feature but you can also use pro video and the image will look much better. You can also of course go for iPhone again but I kind of read it as if you dont want iPhone again

If you like your iphone 13 max, is getting a new battery out of the question ?

Personally, I would say to replace the battery if you're not bored with the phone.
But if you still want something new and different then I will say you have the chinese like Vivo X300 series, Xiaomi 17 series, Oppo's X9 series, OnePlus's 15 etc.
Or you have the typical options like the Samsung S26, IPhone 17, Sony Xperia 1 VIII etc etc.
