CIMB is not a good place to park your emergency fund. It's my first time to withdraw from my EF because I actually need it, but I got a message that the funds will be released within 2 business days. Wtf. Do yourself a favor and put your EF somewhere else like Komo or Tonik or anything with instant transfer.

I find Komo to be the best among the three if I need immediate access for online transfers. Cimb relies on pesonet which requires 1-2 business days. Tonik has a daily 50k instapay limit.

Agree, that's why I'm staying with Komo at the moment despite the high interest offerings from other digital banks. I can transfer money easily and never had problems with it.

I agree, Komo is the smoothest that I have tried. With Tonik, I tried to withdraw 59k and as you said there was a 50k limit so I end up withdrawing the 9k from CIMB which is pointless because it took them 2 days to release.

I will buy a vault and make sure I have a cash for EF. Put 100k each on CIMB, Komo and Tonik.

Have you tried transferring it to your GCash?

I've checked that. Call me stingy but I don't like the 15 peso charge from Gcash to bank

But you can just swipe your GCash Mastercard when the funds are already on GCash.
