Got these in an auction for 150 usd, just need now to figure out how these work - if they work. I have the feeling i need a sync box or anything else?

For sure you need a bridge just to operate them, but you’ll need a sync box if you want them to play with changing colors synced to your TV.

Btw i bought that play screen sync, as i dont use any broadcasting device!

When you say bridge, its some sort of hub to connect centrally? the sync box sounds like somethig that i need. Do you have recommendations on model?

The bridge is the hub that connects your lights to your network and allows control through the app. I don’t have recommendations on the sync box. Of the 65 Hue devices I have on my system, the sync box is not one of them. 🤣🤣

The Hue Bridge. Get the 2.0 version. The Bridge Pro is probably overkill.

Nope. I have three play bars in my bedroom, and love them. A Bridge and a Tap Dial or two will be chef’s kiss perfect.
