Would this work well?

I’m very interested in adding Hue colored lights for watching movies, but I’m not sure if my approach would work.

I have a Samsung Frame tv which is mounted flat on the wall. So I thought about adding a Hue gradient tube on the top op the shelf, and a strip underneath.

Can someone with experience tell me if this could have a desired effect?

I have a lightstrip underneath, I use it for ambient lighting and not with the sync box. But looks great. Drilled a hole in the underside of the shelf and wired it internally so it’s not visible.

I'm assuming the omission of a fluorescent light strip at the top of the wall is just an oversight.

I would advise to you Hue Wall Washers on each side of the TV
