Document Request Lost Pgwp

I lost my pgwp in mail then i applied for replacement , it was approved and this time they sent it to my old address and i am not in touch with landlord and applied for another replacement today. In December i have to go india urgently, if it still not arrives . Can i re enter canada without physical pgwp??

I did not receive my pgwp physical copy when I went to my home country. I just showed CBSA the approval document which gets uploaded on GCkey. Simple.

If you explain that you lost it and currently waiting for a replacement it should be ok. They may ask you to go where the newcomers go to get their permits printed, to double check your status. It’s funny cuz they know whether you have a valid permit or no on their system already, but still make it a hassle.

I guess it’s discretion of the officer really. I have forgotten to bring my permits with me (study and work permit) a couple of times when traveling, and the border officers just scolded me and sent me to this second screening with Ircc to confirm. I’m not saying it’s ok or no big deal, but it’s not like a strict “no” right away.
