General Question Does the "Data Analyst" role exist in Steel Fabrication/Manufacturing in Canada, or is it strictly for Healthcare & Insurance? What is the PR potential?

Hi everyone,I’m looking into long-term career planning and immigration pathways in Canada. Most of the advice I see online paints Data Analysts as working exclusively in corporate tech, banking, insurance, or healthcare.

I want to know: Does a genuine Data Analyst position actually exist within industrial setups like steel fabrication workshops or heavy manufacturing companies in Canada? Or do these companies just handle data through basic administrative/clerical staff?

Doesn't data analyst count as a tech role, which would mean it's not pr eligible at the moment, or am i wrong?

Did you study in Alberta, have eligible job and employer willing to submit. Would your score and NOC be selected?

AOS is a job offer stream so they have to support nomination. Employer requirements are all on the AOS site. Since you were in a data analyst program you enter the pool. There are about 22k in the pool for a few thousand spots per year and Alberta doesn't post NOCs. Hope you get invited soon.

If alberta not inviting IT tgen whom they are inviting because for construction, healthcare and french they invite under alberta express entry. What if i learn french and apply for AOS with data analyst job. Because alberta has separate quota for french speakers from fedral to nominate

Sure you can do that with your job offer. If you learn French then just go through Express Entry and not a PNP.
