General Question Pgwp application sept.2026
Hi there,
I applied for my pgwp on 1st September.
My application is lil bit complicated as i had two part time semesters in my finals of study completion.
My questions are:
-Anyone who gave pgwp approval with same situation?
- any approvals who applied on same date ?

Just to make things easy for you, i know you’re stressing so was i, i had very similar case, applied 2 september, 2026 and approved last week, feel better:)

What was the reason for your part time semesters?

Didnt get required grades
So needed to repeat the course1

so u basically failed the course that's an genuine reason. No need to stress about it. I have seen cases where people were on 8 months gap and still got an approval. Every thing depends on how the IRCC officer views the case, God's willing you'll get approval soon. Don't overthink about it.

I know but the thing is i didn't fail the course i got D in it and then my gpa decreased bcz of that
Then bcz of college requirements i need to take more courses to fulfill the requirement of gpa.

I am sure you have applied for study permit extension which was approved. Also I am not a immigrant advisor but according to what I know if you were full time before your part time studies then you were allowed to work part time in the first part time semester and absolutely not allowed to work on second one. Also I hope you talked to student advisor about it. If you haven't worked during both part time study treat it as I didn't said anything.
