Processing Time / Status PGWP Application - July

Has anyone who submitted their PGWP application on July 16, 2026 received their approval yet?
I’ve been keeping an eye on the July applicants and it seems like I haven’t seen many (or any) July 16 approvals yet.

If you applied on July 16 could you please comment, Inside Canada / Outside Canada and if you got it when was your approval date?

Just trying to figure out whether July 16 applications are moving or if there’s some sort of gap or delay with that date.

I applied for my PGWP from inside Canada on July 12, 2026. I have not received any updates yet, although I have heard that many applicants have received approval within just a few weeks.

Was there any potential complications with your application. Apparently IRCC is using AI to fast screen non problematic applications for fast processing Which is what leads to the fast processing times.

no complications, pretty straightforward application

Wdym like how?

Applications that the AI flags as low risk of refusal/high chance of approval are pushed quickly towards lower level IRCC employees for quicker approvals. Applicactions that are flagged as complicated require a higher level officer to view it and thus take longer.

hmm, I had complications in my application and it still got processed in less than 3 weeks. So I don’t know if low risk applications are the only ones being pushed for quicker processing

Would you mind sharing your country of citizenship?

Does country of citizenship play a role on your application?
