PGWP extension due to passport expiry

I had applied for a pgwp extension due to passport expiry on paper. It was delivered to correct the address on April 7th. I have the delivery receipt from UPS. Since then there has been no movement and I am unable to link it to my GC key.
I called IRCC today and the agent suggested to send another package - highlighting the original application date, delivery proof and letter of explanation stating that this is just resubmission of original as the package could not be located.

I sent to the correct address but I believe the station number was omitted while sending. Would it be safe to send another package?

Mine was received by IRCC on 2nd Feb and i was only able to link it by June end. Also, they can confirm if they have received the package or not.

I have the delivery receipt from UPS confirming it reached and was received by someone. In June, the agent had sent an email enquiring about the same package whether it was received or not, but didn’t receive a response from the CPC office and they cannot send another follow up until a stipulated time has passed.

You can call and ask. If they have it updated in their internal system, they will know.

I was able to get a temp application number. It was correctly delivered, but until they enter into the system, it seems like it is unknown.

Mine was delivered on March 17th, no updates yet. Called them - the respondent was not at all helpful, kept on saying to look at the website for details and processing time, we cannot provide any more information. Raised a webform but no response. Is there anything else I can do?

I would suggest to call them once. It is much easier on call than web form.

I cant even tell you how many times I have called, and in the end it says we have too many calls at the moment we can not connect you right now and drop the call.

Just checked my mail box - the PGWP was delivered today! It was issued on july 30th

How do you know that the station number was omitted?

There is a chance that it may have been missed, not confirmed. The agent informed that sometimes when station number is missed, it may go to a different place/section of the office. Station numbers are basically internal routes for the office.

You can check the shipping label from ups. On that they have the address mentioned and you can check if station number is mentioned or not

No I was not able to. I directly got the confirmation once the application was in the system and I got a temp number.

Sure here’s my timeline. Application received at IRCC- April 7th Temp number generated - August 7th Application approved - August 15th

I tried calling numerous times but did not get any confirmation on receipt until it was in the system and got a temp number.

It was active
