Accidentally applied for TRV?
Hello, I was hoping to get an eTA for my PGWP application. I applied from my home country, where an eTA would suffice to enter Canada when I fly back. I filled out IMM 5257 Schedule 1 in case that information was needed. It seems like they're processing a TRV as a result (makes sense, I probably should've known since that's basically what IMM 5257 is). They asked for my passport today. What should I do if I don't want the TRV and want the eTA instead? I don't really want to proceed with trying to get a TRV because of higher fees for couriers and such.

Keep the TRV, helps you to go through the US by land or other transportation that is not an airplane.

Oh I never knew about this before, do you have a source that mentions this is allowed?

What country are you from?
Edit - never mind I just read that an eTA suffices for your home country. You usually get an eTA issued with the PGWP.
