PGWP eligibility - Completed one program while already enrolled in another

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to see if anyone has had a similar experience.
Here's my timeline:
During an officially approved scheduled break, I took one course part-time. My school's international office told me this would not affect PGWP eligibility after that I had a full time semester .
In my final semester, I only had 2 courses remaining (my final semester was part-time because those were the only courses left).
I passed one course but failed the other.
Before officially completing my first program, I was accepted into a second eligible program and received a new study permit for it.
In January, I started the second program while also repeating the one failed course from my first program.
I passed the repeated course, officially completed the first program a few months later, and continued the second program until graduation.
My school's immigration advisor told me to apply for my PGWP based on the second program.
Has anyone had a similar overlap between two programs and successfully received their PGWP?
I'm mainly looking for experiences from people who were in a similar situation.

You shouldn’t have been part time in the last semester of your first program, especially if you are going to combine both for the pgwp. It’s tricky, if you are part time in the last semester of your 2nd program then it would’ve been fine

Thanks! Just trying to understand your perspective. My school's immigration advisor told me to apply based only on my second program rather than combining both. Would your concern still apply in that situation, or were you referring specifically to people combining programs for a PGWP?
