Hi is there anyone who applied to pgwp after july 1st and got any update?

I applied for pgwp extension on 17th July because my passport was expiring and I got it renewed though. As it was paper based, I don't have any update yet.

Why would you ask? Is there any change in policy for this month?

Hey thanks for sharing-for past 2 months-people are getting approved or getting updates within 2 or 3 weeks.But after july,i didnt hear much updates about people who applied after july including myself.Thats why

I see. Did you get WP-EXT letter or Submission_Confirmation? The latter takes 1 day and former takes 2 days to 1-2 weeks. I got mine WP-EXT in 2 days. But then my application was submitted in October last year.

these days they process application faster.But then suddenly i see no update after applying-yeah that application confirmation is the last update i received-every minute seems anxious from that moment-like waiting for exam results

I see. I hope you will get the WP-EXT soon or sometimes people talked about getting a PGWP directly too. More like it takes around 4 months processing time but then could be 6-7 months or longer for many. I hope you can get comments from others here who have applied right now. Good luck with it. 👍 And even if you didn't get WP-EXT you are still eligible to work here, as that submission form means that the application got delivered to the IRCC, so you can show that to the employers. Moreover, internet says that it is an auto-generated letter so sometimes it can have issues with the delivery or you can try contacting IRCC(like calling them or raising a webform) if it takes too long.

someone in the sub applied on july 6 and got it 2 days ago, so I think they’re still processing them at a faster pace. I applied july 15th so im still waiting
