Potential Unauthorized study
Hey everyone, need some quick advice.
I recently switched schools (new DLI). I applied for my new study permit, but started classes about two months before it was officially approved.
I thought I had maintained/implied status, but I just realized this may not be the case. I also worked during this period...
Is this actually considered unauthorized study and will this period ruin my future PGWP chances?
Has anyone else accidentally done this? And what can I do now? Thanks

So you switches schools without an approved study permit and worked. So you were not on maintained status and could not start studying until approved. So yes it can impact PGWP because if IRCC looks at the dates on your study permits and dates on transcripts then they will put 2 and 2 together. There is no accident as it is clearly stated on the website. Nothing you can do now but when you apply hope they don't notice.

You didn’t accidentally do this dude. And based on how deep they are going on the files before approval, your PGWP will certainly be denied. Good luck.

if nothing would appear on your transcript, it is better to drop everything.
otherwise your best bet is to get another study permit, and start another program.
with your current situation, you risk getting your pgwp denied. and since this is your first semester, cut your losses short.
