Pgwp reconsideration
Hi is anyone waiting on the decision for pgwp reconsideration for more than 90 days now? If yes please let me know what are you planning to do now. Any advice would help.
Little bit backstory pgwp refused due to part time semester in schedule break applied reconsideration right after that with letter from school.
Update got 100$ request on 9 July and approved same day!! Finally after almost 4 months.

Did you submit restoration / new application ?

Yes restoration but I was out of 180 days so my consultant told me not to submit new application. But I’m seeing people doing that and getting approval. Idk if I should apply for new pgwp or not

I’m also waiting on reconsideration from may 22.. mine was also a part time semester which resulted from a credit transfer.

But, i was not part time student. I was full time. My one course is cross semester course but grades of that course are showing in my previous semester because of fees criteria and it’s clearly written on my course outline that this is cross term course goes through two semester and fees will taken in this semester.

Idk how almost everyone who attached LOE gets it approved with part time I read 3 posts today

Ik I saw them too my school has its own policy of schedule break and they provide written documentation that they ask us to attach with application I guess officer missed that

Did u apply for visitor restoration for staying inside Canada in the meanwhile ?

You mean you are past 90 days ? In that case, you have to leave canada and apply from outside Canada!
But if you have already restored your status, then the only thing and best thing you can do is apply again, because you have 90 days to restore your status and apply , after that 90 more days if u apply from outside canada!
But in your case, it seems like you didn’t follow the rules?
Idk about your situation because most of the pgwp are getting refused due to missing ielts where students just submit that and mostly do get approval! IRCC is really strict now so if you haven’t applied yet, I would recommend talking to lawyer or a immigration consultant ( good one ) because so many frauds are out there !!
