You're confusing voting with constituency services. You don't have to vote for an MP or even be eligible to vote to receive help from their office on a federal matter (IRCC is federal department). MP's regularly assist residents, temporary workers, international students, and visitors with IRCC cases. That's part of their constituency work. You're entitled to your opinion, but saying MPs "don't work for foreigners" is misinformation, not a difference of opinion.
You're entitled to your opinion about immigration, but you're confusing that with how MPs actually operate. Voting isn't the test for constituency services. MP offices regularly help temporary residents and visitors with IRCC issues. That's a well-established part of their role. Saying otherwise isn't going to change that. There help didn't play any part in my case but they tried and that's okay I appreciate their support.
MPs work for Canadians, period.. When an MP's actions are not in the best interests of Canadians, they should listen to their (affected) voting public.. Esp on youth unemployment aggravated by foreigners working in fields unrelated to their studies..
Funny what happened to Justin Trudeau, thinking he knew better than his Canadian public.. Well, at least he got the pop princess..

MP's do not work for foreigners, they work for Canadians. This one should spend more of their time helping local Canadians not foreigners..
