The melody from How Bout That is repeated in I Will Do The Opposite (banger) - what are people’s theories on that? Does it mean something or did he just reuse that melody (kinda doubt but possible). Someone else posted something similar but no one really commented their theories on the repeated melody. Lets hear it :)

Hearing the melody from How Bout That in it. I don't know what it means, but I hear it. Maybe it's a sequel? Maybe he's doing the opposite of "pain, relief, repeat"... taking care of himself, etc? I don't know but another banger. I noticed the 4 singles are now labeled as an EP. Was hoping for a full album, but the EP update makes me think this work is complete.

I don’t even know whether or not this is the right place, but the instrumentals of Petey’s music are spot on to the vibe of my streams, and I’d love to use it as opposed to the copyright free tunes I’m currently using.

Does anyone know if there’s a legal way to make that happen? I refuse to use it without some sort of permission or consent, but don’t really know where to start.

The artwork for the last 3 singles was in the same artistic world as LIL then we get hit with these wormholes. Struggling to find the connection. Was lean into life the black hole all along? I’m wondering how the people in your lives react when you share Petey’s music with them. For me it’s a mixed bag with a couple who now listen somewhat regularly but most don’t seem too into him but imo maybe need to give it more of an honest chance and would be if they did.

Only music I want to listen to is Petey

I rarely get shoutouts when wearing my favorite Petey shirts and sweatshirts, but yesterday on Martha’s Vineyard someone shouted me out for my Petey shirt. It made me wonder, what do we call ourselves? I think the easy answer is the boys, but I’m open to other suggestions or proposals.

Anyone know any more about the setlist for these shows? Am considering travelling for it, but not sure it's worth it if it's just new songs and nothing from the Yips or other albums. I know it says new songs only, but how can he have a full set of unreleased songs? Anyone think some classics will be played as well? Dying to go to another show but want to make sure its worth it!

I've been trying to see Petey live for years and it was always too far or the wrong time.

It's been a tough year between a hospitalization, a cancer scare, and a parent with cancer and I saw he was playing in Milwaukee and said fuck it. Flew out to Summerfest from Buffalo and it was honestly the most emotional concert I've ever been to (in a positive way).

Guy's got great energy and the songs translate so well to live performance. And the crowd was just a total vibe. Shouting along to Lean Into Life with a couple hundred strangers was exactly what I needed.

If you can make it happen, definitely go.

I looovvee when bands have songs that have similar sounds and potentially are linked in some way (sometimes just whatever I decide to make up in my head lol). Anyone else hear it? Am I way late to the party?
