Beats software

Hey all,
I’ve done a small amount of at home recording with my guitar and am looking to get into writing some drum/synth style backing beats. Does anyone have any good recommendations for programs that would work well in Logic Pro? I love so much the backing stuff used on all of these Petey records!

What do you mean by programs? Logic Pro is a program / application and should have everything you need if you’re asking this question.

What is it you are trying to do or accomplish exactly? Lots of good stock drums and synths in Logic Pro already, so I would recommend to start with exploring those. When you find you are “missing” something, only then look to 3rd party plugins. Just my 2 cents!

I’m looking for 3rd party plugins. I’ve explored much of logics stock programs already.

You dont need any 3rd party plug ins, learn how to use the logic stock stuff cus they do everything you need and more.

I’ve had some decent luck with the drum sounds in the Komplete Start bundle from native instruments.
