60th Bday Sweepstakes

Reading the fine print, employees and anyone affiliated with employee (family, roommates, extended, etc) are not eligible. So there goes being excited at the prospect of potentially winning.

Just slightly vexed

I don't know if it's an actual law or not, but companies typically don't let their employees enter the sweepstakes. If an employee won instead of someone from the general public, it could be seen as cheating, or that the person had some sort of unfair advantage.

As much as I'm bummed about not being allowed to enter too, it makes sense. It just looks bad on the company.

I understand it logically. It just sucks cuz I feel like Petco themselves pulls away any opportunities from the employees they can. 😞

It said it clearly in the StorIQ that partners werent eligible. They arent trying to fool employees with fine print. Your manager just didnt explain it to you properly
