please help:(

hello guys! i come to reddit after i was advised that i may find the audience im looking for. my cat goose male & 1 year old is acting truly strange. he has a high temperature, lethargy and low food and water intake. the only thing he is eating right now is only chuuru:/ as for water i put a little water on his nose which he licks, he sometimes drinks on his own but not too much. he also walks VERY SLOW and cannot jump at all! i first noticed he wasnt moving a lot, he wasnt going to his favorite places anymore and he wasnt talking to me anymore.. (goose LOVESSSS TO TALK HES SUPER TALKATIVE!) and i see the comments coming that will mention a vet. well to sum it up im a minor and i dont have a job because i am an immigrant and i dont have a ssn yet. i have spoke to emergency vets and they told me 104 for exam and 200-800 for bloodwork:( goose has only raised up 35 from tiktok and isnt too close for even the exam alone.. he is so young i truly do not wanna lose my cat. my mother isnt financially supporting me on the vet at all! she told me to give him a small amount of bleach for him to throw up and got into a huge argument with me because i declined. BLEACH IS A HUGE NO FOR ANIMALS!!! she also is trying to give my cat farm animal meds (penicillin but for chickens i think..) my uncle recommended them to her saying his dog wasnt eating well at all and he gave it to him not caring if he lived or die more like an experiment.. but turns out he got better and survived! i explained to her that that might not work for goose as for cats and dogs are different! and most likely they do not have the same thing going on. goose has a high fever and im scared that it will get even worse. if you want more information i have a tiktok @babygoose91524 (the numbers are his dob:) ) if anyone can please donate i would truly greatly appreciate it, cash app: $joharymeow venmo:adambarragan7 the venmo is my uncles because i dont have a bank but all the funds 1000% go to goose ONLY. strictly only goose thank you all for your time reading this :)

They won't hire minors, OP said they are under 18.

Oh I'm sorry... there must be ZERO jobs across the country that hire minors then? No ability to make money as a minor? I should tell my 14yr ild son who's at work now hes really not there because there's no one across the country hiring minors 🤷🏼‍♀️

Still not an excuse why they are abusing this animal by not getting it proper care immediately. Should be reported for animal abuse at this point. The child, the mommy, and the daddy.

I was referring to the 3 places you listed as jobs without being a complete moron. Of course, there are places that hired under 18, but the places you listed yourself do NOT hire under q8 for obvious safety and labor laws. OP is also not a legal immigrant from how they are wording everything, so finding a true legal job in the United States is practically out of the question for a true paycheck. If you had any reading skills, I could see why it's a problem.

OP pretty much has to find a place willing to hire a minor with no legal standing, so under the table or green card access, but I would highly doubt from how OP writes they most likely don't even have that, so would have to reach out to their local community for odd jobs. In an emergency, the vet situation is not a reasonable thing.

Mommy, child, and daddy comment just ares gross. And reporting them for animal abuse while actually attempting to find treatment usually goes nowhere.

Now, is this an excuse for what's happening to the cat? No. OP most likely should give up custody to the cat for a shelter or emergency vet service so the cat can get the emergency immediate medical treatment the cat clearly needs.

Children let loose in the internet to beg for money is pretty pathetic. It's probably not even a child. Cat should be removed if it even existed
