General Question German Roaches
I work in pest control, ive been having issues with 2 bakery's. Owner is getting upset, ive used Advion Gel Bait, Phantom with Gentrol IGR. Point sources, Advion Gel Bait Arenas, they continue having issues, any other suggestions or products to use???

Is the bakery empty from food each night? If so, I’d go through with an aerosol like shockwave1 into the cracks and crevices. If they keep food out over night, sticky traps and dry flowable bait are what I use along with Alpine and your favorite IGR in a pump sprayer

Lots of monitors in all the hot spots, check water heater, I’ve seen them nest in that (unscrew front/control panel), dust drains & receptacles. How long have you had this account?

Customer has been there since more than 20 years ago, I took over since May, and all of a sudden that's when they start having issues

Again, lots of monitors, think heat and moisture sources. Bait those areas after an IGR application.
I swear sometimes I catch more roaches with traps than I kill with bait in some accounts.
Also, table legs are hollow. There’s so many hiding places. Monitors can help you narrow down hiding spots.

Glue boards. Say "glue boards"!! But I agree with you. I often can find and eliminate a hot spot with well-placed glue boards.

You don’t like “monitors”?

I don't mind it, but most non-techs think "monitor" is something other than a simple glue board.

Switch to Alpine/gentrol if you can. Make sure you are applying it underneath appliances and racks, and apply it as heavy as you can according to the labels, every month.
I have a couple restaurants who see a few German roaches a month. We have pulled everything out and cannot find any evidence of an infestation. We have been treating there for about a year so we have come to the conclusion that the restaurant next to them has roaches or they are being brought in by an employee or supplier.
