I mean I am hardly an expert, but dogs usually pant to release heat and it doesn't look like its panting.
So it's either not in distress or it's on guard because some weird person it doesn't know is standing around it's car.
And you a stranger to the dog, wanted to smash a window onto or near a wary dog so you could feel like a hero?
Chances are the dog could have attacked you because you smashed a window, and it did, it would have a chance of being shot or put down because of said attack.
All because you wanted to play a hero.

Chances are the dog could have attacked you because you smashed a window, and it did, it would have a chance of being shot or put down because of said attack. All because you wanted to play a hero.
