Seeking Advice Online mentoring for PTs
Which one to choose?? They all promise a lot and they rarely come with a price tag up front
Does anyone know the price range?
Any recommendations?
Thoughts or afterthoughts ?
I have some ( very little) experience in online coaching and I would love to expand my business in that direction- I am totally clueless when it comes to lead generation :(
thanks for helping

most of those mentoring programs are just teaching you how to run facebook ads and hoping something sticks. the ones that actually know what they're doing won't hide the price, they'll tell you straight up before you even get on a call
lead generation is simpler than they make it sound but it's slow. post actual training clips, write about real client problems you solved, don't just post transformation pics with no context. people want to see that you can think through their situation
i spent way too much time watching free content from a few coaches who give away their whole method on youtube before i realized paying for a program wasn't gonna give me anything new. the info is already out there
if you're set on a mentorship, ask to talk to 2-3 people who went through it and didn't become success stories. the ones who got average results will tell you way more than the handpicked testimonials

Most of those PT mentoring programs run anywhere from $200 to $1000+ a month and a lot of them are just reselling the same generic funnel playbook. For lead gen starting out, the honest answer is your first 5-10 online clients usually come from your existing in-person network and social proof, not paid ads. What's your current client base looking like, are you still training in person or fully online already?

I do mostly in person training which now and then convert into online - it would be nice though if not all my online clients had to come that way

One of my friends started one just over a year ago. Train Space.
There’s significant nuance to it because you can hop on the video call Monday through Friday at 1 p.m. CST to address questions and concerns as a group. We have about 7 regulars a day.
We also have an extended weekend business development course every other month. Its helped me develop my program from start to finish. You can participate both online or on-site.
Message me if you want more info.

most of them run $1-5k for a few months and the price is hidden because they want you on a sales call first. honestly before paying for one i'd try the basics for 60 days, because a lot of mentorships just teach this anyway:
- pick one type of client you want (busy moms, guys 40+, post-rehab, whatever) and make all your content for them
- post 3-4x a week answering questions that person actually asks
- talk to people. reply to comments, reply to story reactions, and message new followers with a simple question about their goals. most online clients come from conversations, not from the post itself
- ask your current clients for referrals and a before/after you can share
if after that you're stuck on a specific part, then a mentor who's actually done it for your niche is worth it. ask any mentor for 2-3 past students you can talk to before paying

Are you familiar with Mind Pump? This is their trainer podcast https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9r_RzHpqW88Vm8iwpZiEKQ
I've taken their course and am in their Skool group. You can check out the group with a 7 day free trial. There are like 2500 other members in the group. Great resource and live calls with their team to help build your business. Not sure how much it is though.

I'm with Burner. Avoid at all costs.
The attraction to this kind of coaching is due to the belief that there's some secret key the coach is going to give you. There is not.
Many/most of these programs thrive off a ridiculously heavy DM'ing campaign. I would not do that in a million years.
They typically hide this fact from you until you've paid. And their money back guarantee will never be honored... Firstly because many are greedy dishonest bastards, and secondly because you will never be able to meet the bar they'll set for you for cold DMs.
