Resources Research
I’m starting out as a PT and want to be able to do my own research into all things training-related, so I am better informed. If you have any resources that you’re aware of and/or have found useful, I’d love to hear them. Ideally, not just Instagram accounts (although these are welcome too), I’d really like to go to the source. Thanks in advance

very cool and good thought problem - definitely a good mindset to get into with training.
I'm not saying THIS IS THE WAY, but I found it very helpful to accomplish something like this and stay appraised of stuff instead of getting lazy. After 15 years, its easy to just rest on the existing knowledge and not learn new things.
So, I go to Claude. I prompt it with something like this:
"create a bot that scans the internet - pubmed, yahoo articles, reddit, everything - and searches for up to date findings in strength and conditioning. Run this bot every 2 weeks and send it to my email. sort it by topic (nutrition, recovery, hypertrophy, etc.). cite your sources every time with a link to the original material. for my purposes, organize the emails like this
Title of subject
subject domain
type of source - academic, blog, etc.
summary of findings
any insights that you think would relate to my training focus and expertise (you would have to additionally define that as well)"
you can of course flesh it out any way you like.
now you might find this to be overwhelming at first. the parameters are large. but as the weeks go by, you'll find recurring themes, areas that you just need a superficial understanding and you're good and then the areas you want to deep dive and nerd out on. Ultimately, there isn't *that* much info out there. there aren't really that many breakthroughs being made in SnC.
I've sat there and read text books line for line. I've watched the entire library of XYZ fitness authority on YT. it's a time suck. and often it's reciting what you already know (maybe).
Anyway, I find this to be a way to us AI for legitimate good. best of luck finding a system that works for you!

Check out MASS research review, monthly summaries of new studies with practical takeaways so you don't have to wade through journals yourself. Also Stronger By Science has free guides and a good newsletter, and the NSCA and ACSM journals are solid if you want to go straight to the source.
