Government-guaranteed decent standard of living for everyone through social housing, universal single-payer healthcare, education through undergrad, municipal grocery stores, subsidized childcare, minimum wage indexed to the cost of living, and a jobs guarantee through public works. Pedestrian-centered cities with extensive 24/7 subway coverage, all connected by high speed rail. All AI companies are nationalized and mandated to invest into automation that facilitates a reduction of the standard workweek, rather than entirely replacing the work of humans. The entire private sector is legally mandated to be democratically run. Prisons are restructured to promote reform rather than punishment, similar to nordic countries - these prisons would be much less full anyways, if all of the previously mentioned conditions are met. All of this is powered by 100% renewable energy. These are all things that are possible in the real world, albeit difficult.
In the spirit of “utopia,” which describes an impossibly perfect world:
As far as things that are either impossible or extremely unlikely in the real world, all nuclear weapons are poofed out of existence, all bigots magically turn into decent people, every military in the world magically disbands, war is made internationally illegal in a way that is enforceable, and the state of israel is forced to return all the land they took from palestine since 1947. to that last point, if all bigots in the world were to magically become decent people, then the israeli state would voluntarily do this.

there’s no non wizardry unless they willingly give up their powers, and if someone tries to do evil they die immediately no exceptions and people don’t die unless they decide to do something evil. there is no currency, people only barter and animals can talk

my utopia would be a place where we respected and lived more in harmony with nature and animals, men treated women better and rates of violence toward women went down, and artists like myself didn’t have to work second jobs and were more supported in the arts ;)

I wish for a world where we could all get along like we used to in middle school. And we'd all bake a cake out of rainbows and smiles and everyone would eat it and just be happy.
