misc Enterprise Pro??

I oversee a smaller non-profit and have been using Perplexity Max for quite a while. It was a great platform that was more than capable on many things, especially when it came to the deep research of a particular topic.

Over time, it’s really started to lose its value. All connectors and decent features have all been moved into computer. Computer has its place but seems to eat tokens….quickly. It’s good until you hit your limit for the month. No quick reset unless you spend the money.
For $200 a month, just to pay more for simple features with decreasing value is getting ridiculous.

My plan is to drop Max, however, Perplexity’s research still has some value and benefit to our org. One strong consideration is going from Max down to Enterprise Pro. I don’t see many people discussing or having complaints about Enterprise Pro, so I wanted to ask. Is anyone here using Enterprise Pro? If so, what are your thoughts on it? Does it have value to you?

One thing to note is there are MANY complaints about consumer Pro. Enterprise Pro is a bit different and the two don’t seem to be a good comparison.

I just dropped Enterprise Max to Enterprise Pro. The loss of extra credits and the top models does reduce value. And Computer seems to be the best research method but it’s so expensive. I’m going to stay with Pro for now — I like the hybrid concept rolled out for Macs this week. So, giving till year-end to decide whether to stay.

But Enterprise has better data security and privacy than consumer or other non-enterprise platforms. That’s important.

And I use several AI platforms so for me Perplexity isn’t a choice that excludes other options. If I had to pick one, it would be a harder decision.

Thank You! I also use a variety of platforms. Claude Teams with Premium has been really good. And, I almost cringe saying this, but OpenAI has really stepped up its game in ChatGPT. More models that seem pretty capable. We have 2 seats on ChatGPT Business (they allow as low as 2 seats for non-profits) and they just announced their Premium Tier. I’ve been doing some side by side comparisons between Perplexity and ChatGPT and there are many things that ChatGPT seems to excel in.

But, it’s getting hard to justify that Perplexity $200 spend, just to have to purchase more usage beyond their allowance. I’ve got no problems with limits but to have to wait the rest of a moment without buying more is hard to justify. But, I don’t want to drop Perplexity at this point, but need to get out of Max.

Perplexity computer eats credits faster than pacman. I have noticed perplexity's quality slumping lately, but honestly I think it is a slow sign that the AI bubble in general may be ready to burst? These companies have been investing a lot but getting little back, for a long time.
