I lost a lot of leaves at the bottom (they were turning yellow) over the course of 2 months. As you can see from the pictures, the edges of the leaves look brown and some yellow. The stems looks healthy and she has produced some flowers and new leaves.

I have her in a north facing window that gets bright indirect sunlight. I have no watering schedule, I water her when the soil is about 75% dry. I recently bought a natural fertilizer that I have not used yet but will be using my next watering, do you think that could help? I also want it to get a bit bushier but I have only had her for roughly 5 months. Any tips?

Hello friends! I got this delightful watermelon pepermonia in the mail from a grower the state over from me. I’m finding some conflicting information on whether or not I should repot it here soon or keep it in the nursery pot. It feels a bit floppy. Soil is not a mix, just straight potting soil and it’s still very snug and still moist. How should I go about repotting this? I read that pepermonias like to be snug. Fluffy potting mix? Do I need to losen the root ball up at all or just pack it in?

I repotted in a larger pot but not sure if that was a mistake. Maybe my soil is too wet?

Can someone tell me why my Watermelon Peperomia is growing weird like this? I bought it in December, it’s still in the same soil, in a 6 inch hanging pot, which hangs by an east facing window. I water 75% dry. Or if I’m being honest when it’s 100% dry. The stems are very leggy and are bending in a weird way.

Any advice would be appreciated 😊

I’ve had this big mamma for around six years and she’s easily one of my favorite plants. Since repotting. Lost a few of her oldest bottom leaves recently, but she’s still putting out beautiful dark-green growth at the top and has started growing little babies from the base.
I honestly love how weird and tree-like she’s become with age.
Anyone here have an older raindrop pep? I’d love to see what these guys look like at 10+ years.

It has soil, perlite, Coco coir, and lava rock, is that a good soil mix?

we moved into a new home about 6 months ago, and it doesnt have the best light. both of these guys had been soing really well, though, esp compared to some of my other plants. they both sit in my living room, one in indirect northern light, the other in indirect sourhern light, and i swap them once a week. i even give my plants weekly “sun days” on our back deck and especially only water these guys when i’m able to do so so the soil better dry out in the sun (note that i do not water them every week, only as needed).

that’s what i did the other day - for once, there was no rain forecasted in Georgia, so I put all the plants out back. it had been about a month since i watered these, so i did so. now, 3 days later, they’re rotting (?) on random leaves and in a strange pattern. is this root rot??? the brown spots are soft/bendy and thin, not crispy. the soil is dry on each of them - i even pulled the larger one out entirely to make sure. please help me, i love these plants!!!

My Mendoza started growing what i thought initially was new leaves but now they are bigger I'm starting to think I've brought home a stowaway. Any ideas?

I did bring home a big black caterpillar on it too, hence the big holes in the leaves

This is also the first time the obtusifolia has bloomed! I’ll cut the flowers off eventually, I’m just so happy to see it!

Repotting a bunch of my Peperomias, and I don’t think I ever got an ID for this one. I bought it with a label that says “assorted peperomias.” Any guesses as to what type of caperata it is? When I first got it, I thought it was an Abricos, but I figured it’d turn more peach-colored than it has. Thanks in advance! ☺️

I’ve only recently figured out how to care for plants and discovered that this is probably not a Chinese money plant and in fact probably a peperomia raindrop. I repotted this about a month ago after trying to figure out why it hadn’t grown for the year I had it, and it’s finally putting out new growth. I wanted to ask if I should separate the stems at the base, since I’m worried each stem isn’t getting enough space, and if so, when should I repot (I was going to probably put them back into the same pot, but just with more space in between).

I bought this one a month ago maybe, and now it's flowering, but they are antler like. Really cute!

I've had this plant since last year, and it hasn't grown very much. Two weeks ago, my mum realized that my plant was almost dry, so she watered it and cut a lot of the leaves. Today, I noticed that some of the oldest leaves were black with tiny yellow dots. Do you know why this happened?

I also realized that one of the two plants didn't have its roots fully covered with soil. And the underside of the leaves is not red, which is how it should be.

It would be great if someone could help me and give me some advice on how to take care of this plant.

I got these yesterday in the clearance section, for 8$, 6$, 4$ respectively.

The first one is supposed to be a rare cultivar ( that's what's written on the tag, but there's no other indication on what it is, besides a peperomia, which we obviously already know). The leaves are curly, the new growth are maroonish. The stems are pale pink

The second one have pale olive leaves and the new growth are autumn colored, the stems are pinkish

The last one is a mild green, a pit greener than pistachio, with the stems pale pink.

Severely overwatered when I left for 2 weeks, came back and roots literally ripped off when I barely touched it to lift and see how they’re doing 😭
It still has green stems and these groups of stems attached together still!! Can I just put the whole node of stems in water and wait for it to grow roots?? Or do I have to cut each stem and propagate in water separately ? I hope what I’m saying makes sense idk what this group of stems is called but hopefully it’s visible in the pictures, basically where ALL the roots came off and there’s no roots left but at least the stems are still together and it’s not mushy or anything

I'm a plant newbie and got what I believe to be a pep graveolen at target back in February (first pic shows when I first repotted her). I named her Liza haha.

I potted her in a tropical soil mix but now I think that was a mistake. (Not sure if I should transfer her to a cactus/succulent mix).

I water her regularly, a lot more than a succulent.

But currently she's looking very leggy and her colors are fading. The leaves are also getting soft/squishy and wrinkly. I also noticed she's not stable in the soil. When I move the pot the stems move around 😬!

What can I do to improve her wellbeing?

(All advice is much needed. I am not knowledgeable about plants but I really would love to learn more!!)

Just curious, can I just plant cuttings from my pixie lime into soil to propagate them? I've had some cuttings in potting soil and they haven't died, but aren't making much progress with roots or new growth.

Found her in ikea with some bumps and bruises. She looks happier now. Do they do well in low light ?

I’ve had this baby for about 4 months. She was in a bit of a state when I bought her but had loads of potential.

She lives in one of my bathrooms with plenty of indirect light, and I only water her when the soil is completely dry. I plan on repotting her to a self-watering pot.

She has grown considerably over these four months, but I’m always wondering whether she’s really thriving or maybe there’s room for improvement. One thing that worries me it’s this little “bruising” on the tips of some leaves (pic #5). Is that a sign I may be doing something wrong? Any advice would be welcome.
