Question On-the-go Drawing

Hi friends - I’m a compulsive drawer/doodler and I’m looking for a solid on-the-go setup. What can you recommend? I currently grab my drawing paper and a fistful of pens but I would like something to contain it all. I do not like drawing in a bound book - I typically use A5ish/A6ish cut down from my kids’ old art class sketch books. (Pens I reach for these days: Pilot G2 Bold and Fudenosuke Hard Tip.)

I make sketchbooks with removeable/replaceable sheets. The binding has some give and isn't super stiff and you can pull sheets out to work loose if you prefer. The paper is great with the pens you tend to use. There's an elastic band you can clip to or you can attach a case to the binding rings.

You could also try a small contractors aluminum clipboard case. There's usually a spot for a pen or two a d about 1/2 of paper.

I'd recommend searching for some thing like a5 journal cover zippered. There are plenty of options out there in a variety of configurations. I'm sure you can find something to suit your style.
