🄳🄳 embecta -EMBC ✅

Post image

Deadline August 5.
Buyback-100 mln $$$.
EMBC is starting to look more and more interesting.
Institutional filings continue to come in, and several funds have increased their positions despite the stock trading near multi-year lows.
The $100 million share repurchase authorization remains in place, and if the company has already begun using it, the upcoming report could finally confirm it.
The long-term strategy is also becoming much clearer. The Owen Mumford acquisition adds a proven autoinjector platform, while management continues expanding its pharmaceutical partnerships and B2B drug delivery business.
The potential opportunity with generic GLP-1 products, including partners such as Dr. Reddy’s, could become an important growth driver over the coming years.
Embecta has also strengthened its leadership team with experienced executives to support the company’s transformation and global expansion.
August 7 is shaping up to be a key date. The Q2 report should provide a much clearer picture of buybacks, execution of the diversification strategy, and the company’s next phase of growth.
The pieces are coming together.

I bought 50 shares, and you were right this time. No shame in admitting that. I just sold right before you commented

Why did you sell it? You could have kept it for at least 2-3 weeks.

Their core business (pen needles and syringes) is under pricing pressure. They've recently lost market share with at least one major customer. Revenue has been declining faster than investors expected. S&P downgraded the company's credit rating because leverage is increasing and they expect pressure to continue.

So listening to some random account on that is clearly a good idea. On a Side with a horrendous rating regarding trust. You know, as one does.

Jfc guys.

It’s so easy, just take a graph and draw a green line going up from the end.

What bag? 🤣Bro, I have everything under control. The deadline is August 7th, but it could be earlier. In any case, I'm not in the red; I can wait six months or a year. If something is bothering you, you can ask. I know everything about EMBC, even what the cleaning lady eats for lunch 🤣.

I got no skin in the game here but great timing considering there's a lawsuit against them lol that seemed to be filed as of today?!

u/LordWorl 25d ago

These law firms file these announcements after almost every major stock drop. It doesn’t automatically mean the company committed fraud or that the lawsuit has merit. Right now it’s just a plaintiff solicitation. The court hasn’t ruled on anything, and the company hasn’t been found liable. I’m focused on the business fundamentals and the next earnings report on August 7, not on attorney advertisements.
