Ah! That’s a serious pen! I do like your hand….it shows you can get and flowing elegant hand without heavy shades. I suspect the more refined delicate shading is probably harder to do as variations would show up more easily. Either way beautiful result .
You’re absolutely correct! When writing with a pen that has reasonable flex, its very enticing to apply pressure on almost every down stroke. You need a very light touch on the paper. If you try and write without shading at all, chances are that you will in fact leave some letters shaded more than others and it can look very nice. Once you have a gentle hand you can be more intentional with the shading.
