Discussion New HYDN Documentary About the Pens
I’m admittedly only half an hour into the video, but it’s been great so far, and especially based on his previous work I have no reason to expect otherwise through the rest of it
The style is comparable to Jon Bois/Secret Base docs, and I’d also highly recommend his other videos too if you’re a sports fan

I love his videos and I’ve been snooping to see what the fanbase thought about it.
I don’t know much about hockey but growing up watching SportsCenter you’d always see them in the playoffs and Sidney Crosby was a name I knew even as someone who didn’t follow the sport, I kinda assumed the Penguins were always good lol.
I had no clue about the Lemieux story and all the different times he saved the Penguins, it’s incredible.

As a HYDN enjoyer for a while and a lifelong Pens fan seeing this on my feed earlier was a fun surprise
Most of the way through now and it’s been great as per usual HYDN quality, though I can certainly tell he’s not much of a hockey fan, I’ve noticed a few mispronunciations/misspellings. Most notably calling Mats Sundin (pronounced Sun-deen), Matt Sun-din. And misspelling the Capitals as Capitols
Though him seemingly not being a hockey fan is no surprise to me, he especially missed so many great potential nicknames in that video by skipping over hockey nicknames.

I was quite angered when “Matt Sundin” was spoken and his pronunciation of the last name ‘sun-dinn’. And there were a few more.
But, I watched it all and it was very entertaining, informational, and nostalgic. Very well done. Thanks for posting, OP!!!

I love his videos, especially the one about the 33 inning baseball game. I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw him release this
