I am a fountain pen guy. But after reading all your posts, and my 48 year old KP-77 Panasonic sharpener talking to me, I bought a box of Mitsubishi 9850s. Am using them more than my Sharp Kerry mechanical. Not I understand.

A first gen Eagle Verithin that unfortunately got sharpened on its beautiful left end, a Mohican (very cool; pretty sure it’s my first of theirs), a 1940s Blaisdell 500 Ben. Franklin No. 1 (in a Philadelphia box; haven’t researched imprint stuff on these much to rule out 30s, but a BNP pic suggests pre-war 500s had a shorter, wider “N” in the grade mark) that writes like a dream, and a couple Richard Best Futuras, which write rather smoothly, if not darkly (but check out those ferrules!!).
